Lazuli has been taking pictures since age 8. For ten years, she shot exclusively digitally. She then fell in love with film, shooting a combination of 35mm, medium format, and eventually 4x5 film for the last 3 years. The material and process of film have changed her perspective on the possibilities of digital, bringing Lazuli back to shooting digitally for the past year. Lazuli has studied photography in North America and Europe.
